Instagram is developing its own application to enter the shopping world

The new application, IG Shopping, will allow users to browse and purchase their products directly from merchants within the new Instagram shopping application, and we do not yet know whether it can actually be released. It can be canceled before it is released, but Informed sources say Instagram believes it is in a good position to achieve significant expansion in e-commerce.

More than 25 million companies already have InStagram accounts, and 2 million of them are advertisers, according to Sheryl Sandberg, head of operations at Facebook at the company's latest earnings meeting. Four out of five InStacam users follow at least one activity, Instagram's independent shopping application for the company provides a dedicated venue for growing popular activity on the app with increased revenue opportunities.

Over time, Facebook can offer more tools to traders who build their businesses on Instagram, challenging direct e-commerce platforms such as Shopify. Most online businesses need an Intrastam account, so many will probably use business tools Paid if available.



Some companies already sell these tools to Instagram advertisers. For example, Six Sixty allows companies to pay for help in creating scalable photo galleries, content scheduling and scheduling, and other services. Shopify has dozens of plug-ins for promoting and managing InStagram-based businesses.

Before announcing the launch of the InStaqram shopping app by years, the shopping experience began in November 2016 and was expanded in March last year. Shopping will not be the first feature in a separate application. The company has been testing Direct, a new chat application, since last December and launched the IGTV application in June, YouTube's main competitor, but places footage vertically shot.
